About the Fund
The Judicial Review Fund supports strategic public-law proceedings concerning systemic issues arising within statutory adjudication, regulatory interpretation, procedural fairness, and institutional accountability.
It exists to facilitate disciplined constitutional scrutiny where significant public-law questions may properly require authoritative judicial examination. The Fund does not pursue litigation merely because disagreement exists, but only where identifiable legal or constitutional issues arise that justify supervisory scrutiny. FLG recognises the constitutional significance of judicial review as a mechanism ensuring that statutory authority is exercised lawfully, rationally, proportionately, fairly and in accordance with established public-law principles.
All activity supported by the Fund remains legally disciplined, evidentially grounded, proportionate and connected to wider public-interest considerations.
